Pinwheels in Wonderland

A whole city rises from the Nevada dust for one week, then vanishes without a trace. No money, no spectators — just art cars, radical gifting, and tens of thousands of people building something impossible together. It ends when the Man burns. Black Rock City, we spin for you.

After mud-burn of 2023, our camp returned to Burning Man for a do-over! And we were better than ever!! This year we were called Pinwheels in Wonderland to fit with the “Curiouser and Curiouser” theme. We camped with a big village: Lakes on the Playa, and were situated right on Esplanade at 6:15. We installed a Croquet court on our frontage, and took over the dome for Mumu Mimosas on the Saturday, hosted Pinwheel Pasties on Esplanade, and held our talent show on Thursday night on the fire stage! For burn night, we went out as a group to watch the man burn together, and it was very special.
