Lakes of Fire is the Great Lakes regional Burning Man event, held outdoors in Michigan — next up July 15–19, 2026. Picture a few thousand people dragging their most ambitious art and biggest hearts to a lakeside gathering full of fire, music, weird beauty, and genuine human connection. It's dusty (well, muddy?), it's magical, and it's very much a place where you build the thing you always wished existed. 🌊
