Who ‘we’ are
PinWheelerZ is operated by Circle Shots, LLC, a California limited liability company. When these Terms say “we,” “us,” or “PinWheelerZ,” that’s us. When they say “you,” that’s you, the person reading this while presumably curious about a pinwheel-themed festival camp.
Who can join
You need to be 18 or older. PinWheelerZ is invite-only — somebody on the camp already vouched for you, or you signed up on the waitlist and we’ll get back to you. By creating an account or filling out the waitlist, you’re telling us you meet that bar.
Your account
We sign you in with magic links sent to your email. Keep that inbox safe — anyone with access to your email can sign in as you. If something looks off, email pinhead@pinwheelerz.com and we’ll lock things down.
What we do with your face
When you upload a selfie, we feed it to AI image models (currently Google’s Gemini family via the Vercel AI Gateway) to generate your pinwheel-self in various personas. You keep all rights to your original photo. You give us a non-exclusive license to store the AI- generated variants and use them inside PinWheelerZ, on the camp’s public socials, and to promote the camp. You can delete any generated variant or your whole account anytime.
What we do with your voice
When you fill in voice prompts during onboarding, we store those words and feed them to Pinhead — our caption-drafting AI — so future posts sound like you. You can edit or delete any voice sample from /me. If you delete your account, all your voice samples go with it.
What we ship to the gram
PinWheelerZ drafts posts in “bundles” — groups of photos plus an AI-drafted caption. A real, human camp admin reviews and can rewrite each bundle before it gets scheduled to PinWheelerZ’s public Instagram and Facebook — so there’s always a person in the loop, and we keep an internal record of who wrote or edited each post. You can ask us to remove any post that features you — see pinhead@pinwheelerz.com.
Other people in your photos
If you upload a photo with other people in it, you’re telling us you have their permission for that photo to be: stored in PinWheelerZ, shown to other camp members, fed to AI for cover-image generation, and potentially included in a public Instagram post. If you’re not sure, don’t upload it. Non-members in your photos can email pinhead@pinwheelerz.com to request removal.
Stuff we ask you not to do
No spam, no harassment, no uploading media you don’t have rights to, no uploading photos of minors, no trying to break our stuff or impersonate other members. Don’t use PinWheelerZ to do anything illegal in California. Use common sense; we’re a small camp, we’ll notice.
Stuff we might do if you break the basics
We can suspend or terminate your account, remove content, and decline to post bundles you’re involved in. We’ll usually email you first unless we think the situation’s urgent. Account termination is reversible (we keep the door open) unless you explicitly ask for permanent deletion.
AI-generated content disclosure
Pinhead and the image models are doing their best, not making promises. Generated images and captions are creative interpretations, not facts about you or anyone else — and a human admin signs off on every public post before it ships. If something Pinhead writes about you feels wrong, tell us and we’ll fix or pull it.
The boring legal end
PinWheelerZ is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Circle Shots, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PinWheelerZ. Our total liability for any direct claim is capped at one hundred US dollars ($100), which is roughly the cost of a really good pinwheel. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes go to a court in San Diego County, California.
Retroactive consent
PinWheelerZ existed (and posted to social) before these formal Terms came out. By agreeing now, you also retroactively consent to PinWheelerZ’s use of your likeness, voice, and uploaded media in any content produced before your acceptance date — including any AI-generated variants, bundles, and posts already published or scheduled. If there’s any specific prior content you want pulled before you agree, email pinhead@pinwheelerz.com first; we’ll handle removal before you sign.
Changes
We’ll update these Terms when we need to. When we do, we’ll bump the version number at the top of this page and ask you to agree again the next time you sign in. If you don’t agree, you can’t keep using PinWheelerZ — but you can always export and delete your data first.
